Perform as a UX Designer to design software and platforms that meet people’s needs; while combining interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience. Strong analytical and creative designer who can grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.

Develops, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, modifies and installs programs.


Compensation: Base salary of $68,000+ DOE, participation in iQor's Corporate Bonus Plan, and access to iQor's full benefits package.


  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
  • Work with UI developers to implement attractive designs
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
  • Understand product specifications and user psychology
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
  • Writes programs that involve formatted output and basic reporting.
  • Prepares technical specifications and test plans.
  • Develops/maintains computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data and information.
  • Devises sample input data to test accuracy of program.
  • Resolves questions of program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal or reviews for system integrity.
  • Observes or runs test of program using sample or actual data, assist in user acceptance training.
  • Participates in roll out and on time delivery of developed applications.
  • Maintains and develops documentation for responsible area. Prepares and provides status updates of assigned project plans and schedules.
  • Maintains positive relations with all employees encouraging them to suggest ways of improving IT systems. Recommends/conducts training.
  • Serves as escalation point for troubleshooting issues.
  • Organizes verbal and written ideas clearly, use appropriate business style.
  • Identifies creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of nonvalue added processes, or complete reengineering of processes and systems).
  • Drives continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
  • Offers new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identifies and implements new practices and processes that are “best in field”.
  • Exchanges knowledge and information with other iQor facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization while maintaining discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to iQor or customer specific.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas related to the IT department functions.
  • Provides offHours 24 x 7 Support as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
  • Strong portfolio of design projects
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Proficient in design software (e.g. UXPin, Balsamiq)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Must be knowledgeable in 1 or more of iQor's software programs or packages.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good logical, analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good working knowledge of standard computer operating systems, i.e. Microsoft, Unix.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required. 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to sit and/or remain stationary for extended periods of time. Individual will be required to type and/or operate a computer and other office productivity machinery for extended periods of time. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and/or extensive reading. The person in this position may need to occasionally walk or otherwise traverse, stand, exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects, bend, reach, kneel, and/or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
