Supervises a group of individuals involved in the development, support, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and installing of business applications programs.


  • Maintains availability of system including assisting installation at plant sites, providing support to current users, monitoring the system and troubleshooting issues.
  • Trains and supports for all plants including coordination with other plants and installation teams.
  • Participates in development and rollout of new functionality.
  • Assists in development of guidelines, checklist, procedures and training documentation.
  • Ensures that projects are scheduled, planned to achieve the right balance of roadmap/strategic developments and necessary ongoing enhancements to maintain the integrity of the application/infrastructure
  • Ensures project communication is effective with all parties.
  • Allocates resources to projects.
  • Offers new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field".
  • Establishes new measurement systems if or where possible.
  • Exchanges knowledge and information with other iQor facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the iQor organization.
  • Ensures 100percent adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health, Safety and Quality).
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to iQor or customer specific.
  • Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • To be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas related to the IT department functions.
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to the IT systems.
  • Understands and embraces the business and IT strategic direction.
  • Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
  • Ability to synthesize project information and establish the appropriate scope of a project.
  •  Ability to apply strong project management skills and methodologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required. 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to sit and/or remain stationary for extended periods of time. Individual will be required to type and/or operate a computer and other office productivity machinery for extended periods of time. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and/or extensive reading. The person in this position may need to occasionally walk or otherwise traverse, stand, exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects, bend, reach, kneel, and/or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
