IT Analyst III

Summary

As an IT Analyst III (.NET Developer), the incumbent would be responsible for working with the existing development team to assist by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing software applications using C# and MS SQL Server. Also the incumbent should be able to develop a solution from the requirements phase all the way through to the deployment stage to include coming up with estimates, a project plan, and logical steps to accomplish a project.

Responsibilities

 

• Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.
• Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.
• Checking your code to detect and remedy errors and omissions.
• The incumbent would be responsible for coding, i.e writing code in dot net C# with sound understanding of SQL Server & SQL.
• Should be able to debug the SP in SQL Server and make modifications in it.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Background Services, SSIS is required.
• Remaining abreast of coding and technological changes that will impact your work.
• Prior experience in windows based projects would be an added advantage.

Requirements

• 3+ Years experience in software engineering practices with familiarity to agile development practices and testing.
• At least 3 years hands on experience with .NET/C#, XML/XSLT, CSS/HTML, and SQL/relational databases
• Experience with testing methodology such as unit testing and familiarity with Agile development practices
• SSIS and MVC would be added advantage
• Excellent Communications/Interpersonal skills-should be able to communicate clearly with technical and non- technical audience.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required.

The person in this position may need to occasionally walk or otherwise traverse, stand, exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects, bend, reach, kneel, and/or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
